In the first two quarters we sent a record 18 eblasts to our
audiences, including announcements, resource releases, and On
Culture newsletters. This reflects an intentional strategy to make
more regular contact with and provide helpful insights to our closest
followers. We saw our email lists grow by more than 1,000 new
subscribers, and our audiences remain actively engaged with our
content as indicated by an email open rate of nearly 40%. For
context, the average open rate for organizations in the nonprofit
sector is roughly 30%.
