The Council
In 1954, three years after the first Meeting, the non-profit Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings was
founded in order to provide the Lindau Meetings with an institutional framework. Today, the annual Meetings are
organized by the Executive Secretariat, based at the Lennart Bernadotte Haus on Lindau Island.
